M2E Sales Channels act as a connector between External Catalog (Shopify/BigCommerce/Salesforce/WooCommerce) or Product Catalog (built into the app) and connected Channels (Amazon, eBay, Walmart).
External Catalog (Shopify/BigCommerce/Salesforce/WooCommerce) means that when you connect any of the mentioned external platforms to the app, their data will be used for automatic updates and listing management.
Product Catalog is built into M2E Sales Channels, allowing you to create products, manage and list them on the connected Channels. With this setup, you don't need to have any external platform, store or website (apart from Channels) to manage existing products and list new ones. Everything is stored inside the app.
You can choose the needed Data Source at the first step of the app onboarding process.
