M2E Multichannel Connect automatically imports orders from each connected Channel account (eBay, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop or Kaufland). This way, you can handle and ship orders from one place.

To provide order management settings, navigate to the Settings tab and choose your linked Channel from the drop-down menu.

Order management settings should be set individually for each Channel.

Order Management

When setting up your M2E Multichannel Connect account, you’ll need to define whether the app should create corresponding orders in your store. The app will create orders only if products from your store are linked to your eBay, Amazon, and Walmart items.

There are several options available:

  • Create orders in your store – enable this option if you want the app to create an order in your store once the customer places an order on the Channel. The option ensures that all eBay, Amazon, or Walmart orders are mirrored in your store.

To maintain consistent inventory levels between your store and the Channel, make sure to enable the "Create orders in your store" option. If you keep it disabled, the app won't synchronize stock levels of the ordered items, which may lead to overselling issues.

  • Create orders only for items with Inventory sync enabled – enable this option to allow the app to create an order in your store only when Inventory sync is active for the purchased items. The option ensures that store orders are created only for items synchronized by M2E Multichannel Connect.

  • Create orders for Amazon FBA – enable this option if you use Amazon FBA service and want the app to create an order in your store for orders fulfilled through FBA.

M2E Multichannel Connect starts creating orders in your store from the moment you enable the corresponding options in order settings.

If you've disabled the store order creation or a marketplace order wasn’t automatically created in your store, you can create it manually in M2E Multichannel Connect. Simply navigate to the Orders tab and click Create order in Store on the order details page.

Using the dedicated filter in the Orders tab, you can quickly find marketplace orders that haven't been created in your store.

Once the order is shipped, M2E Multichannel Connect will synchronize its status and tracking number across all platforms – eBay, Amazon, Walmart, and your store. Learn how to ship Channel orders in this guide.

If you receive a full or partial refund for an order on the marketplace, the order's status in your store will stay unchanged. Information about the full/partial refund will be available in the 'Order Notes' section of your store.

Customer Management

Avoid extracting real buyer emails to your store – enable this option if you want the app not to display buyer emails in Channel orders created in your store.

By enabling this option, you will comply with Channel policies prohibiting direct communication with buyers outside the platform and protect your seller account from potential restrictions.

Tax Collection

Exclude tax collected by US-based Marketplaces – enable this option if you want the app to exclude taxes from orders placed on US marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop.

When the option is on, tax won't be included in the order total in your store. The option is available for Shopify, BigCommerce, and Ecwid users, with more platforms coming soon.

Status Mapping

Set the correspondence between Channel and store order statuses. M2E Multichannel Connect will update the store order's status based on the eBay, Amazon, or Walmart order status.

Feel free to adjust your order settings at any time. Simply navigate to the Settings > Orders tab in your M2E Multichannel Connect app.
